I worked on Immortals Fenyx Rising as Lead Game Designer from Ubisoft Bucharest, Romania during the entire development of the game (kick-off to launch).
Leading the game design team, my mandate focused exclusively on delivering the combat experience of the game. This involved:
- Designing and implementing most enemies in the game.
- Designing and implementing a variety of bosses, including Typhoon, the final boss of the game.
- Define the vision and fight pillars of the game with the Quebec team
- Tune, improve and polish the players’ 3Cs as well as every player’s ability, chaining, and the overall fight dynamic.
This leads us to win the “Outstanding Game, Original Action” award from the NAVGTR Awards in 2020.
